In this cask share of Dalrymple sherry aged whisky from 2015, you have the opportunity to have two full bottles bottled at cask strength when it is expected to be bottled in 2027 as an 12-year-old. The whisky is aged in a 2nd Fill Oloroso Sherry Hogshead and will remain in this cask until it is to be bottled. We expect the cask to yield approx. 260 bottles at cask strength of approx. 57.3%.
Dalrymple is Single Malt Scotch Whisky and comes from the Ailsa Bay Distillery, which is located in the Scottish Lowlands region, on the west coast.
By purchasing a cask share in this cooperative cask, you are guaranteed 2 bottles of each 70cl when the cask is expected to be bottled in November 2027. Should a cask sample show that the cask is not ready to be bottled, the bottling will be postponed for a year. The cask contents were measured in 2022 when we bought the cask, where the alcohol strength was 61.8%. The cask sample we received in January 2025 is 58.2%.
If you come by our store, you can as always, taste the cask sample from this cask. There is also the option to order a cask sample here on the page.
