Teaninich 17Y (1st Fill PX Sherry) 20 cl – 58.4%
Aged in a 1st Fill PX Sherry Barrel, this Teaninich (20 cl) is bottled at cask strength of 58.4% and 17-years-old – the whisky has been in this sherry cask for a good 6.5 years, prior to bottling, and what a taste and color it got from here. As the cask itself is as good as it is, this time we have chosen to reuse it in Scotland, for storing another whisky, which we have lying in the same warehouse.
Before this 17-year-old Teaninich on 1st Fill PX Sherry was bottled, it was sold in casks shares here at the shop.
When the cask was bottled, 244 bottles of 70 cl and 24 of 20 cl came out of the cask.
The whisky is not colored or watered down.
