Dumbarton 33Y – 53.8%
A rare bottling of single grain Scotch whisky from the closed Dumbarton Distillery, which was distilled back in 1986. 33 years later, the whisky was bottled up by Duncan Taylor for The Octave series, after being finished in an octave cask. Only 103 bottles were produced.

Nose | A tropical fruit salad with chocolate ice cream. Stewed rhubarb and coconut water. Very floral, with strong sherry |
Palate | Fresh pineapple. Italian torrone nougat. Fairly spicy, with white pepper and nutmeg |
Finish | Great length. Still quite peppery with a tiny hint of salt |
