After 6 years on cask, Claxton’s has bottled this “Trails End (Ar)“, in their Exploration Series (EXP) as number 8 in the range at 50%.

It is a very well-known Islay distillery, which for legal reasons they are not allowed to write the name of on their label and therefore we cannot write it either. If, for example, you enter the coordinates on the label via Google Maps, you will quickly be able to see where this whiskey comes from.

All bottlings in this series are bottled in standard round bottles, and not in the “flat” bottle type that Claxton’s normally uses. Under the foil on all the bottlings, in the “Exploration Series”, you will find a Claxton’s gold token (coin).
