After this Glen Ord has aged in a 1st Fill Ex Bourbon Barrel for 11 years, we have had it bottled at a cask strength of 58.8%. The cask has previously been offered in cask shares here at the shop, of which 168 bottles out of the 213 have been sold. that came out of the cask – the rest are now for sale here at the shop.
The plan was for the cask to have been bottled in 2022, but we agreed in the tasting panel that the cask was not quite ready at this time, so we waited until now – and what whisky has come out of it 💪🥃
